Sovex Systems manufacturers and sells Boom Conveyors used primarily for loading and unloading lorries with loose and unpalletised parcels. Based in Prenton on the Wirral, the company employs around forty people and is one of only a few UK conveyor manufacturers.
Directors David Lindfield and Malcolm Dooley set up the business in 2002, and the company now boasts blue chip clients such the Royal Mail, Parcelforce and ASDA.
The name Sovex Systems has been around for over 50 years, and is synonymous with high quality conveyor systems. In the 1990's the original company was bought and absorbed by a large, multi-national conglomerate.
When the Sovex name became available again, around 2002, David and Malcolm took the opportunity of resurrecting the business and re-establishing the link between the name Sovex and high quality conveyor systems.
