Caljan Rite-Hite Stand Out From The Competition!
In June 2006 a product was launched that would reduce the hazard in many loading bays throughout the country. By making a small change to the way that trailers are managed, a significant number of accidents could be prevented.
The TS-2000 trailer stand launched by Caljan Rite-Hite, experts in the design and manufacture of loading bay equipment, is proving to be a huge success, just months after its introduction.
Fitting most types of trailers, the stand is placed under the trailer’s nose when uncoupled from the tractor unit. When in position, the stand will prevent the trailer from upending during loading or unloading.
Leading animal feed manufacturer, SugaRich, have invested in two trailer stands for use at their Newcastle Under Lyme operation. As it was the first time that they had utilised this supporting apparatus, it was important that they invested in the right product.
Paul Featherstone, Commercial Manager at SugaRich commented, “When carrying out my research, I came across the ideal solution from Caljan Rite-Hite. After finding out exactly what this product could do, I discovered that it met all the criteria and that it was perfect for what we needed.”
A simple design, which is a highly effective in use, has a retracted length of 1050mm and extended length of 1400mm, it can support a trailer weighing up to 50,000 kilograms.
Made of square tubular steel, with a single gear cranking mechanism and solid rubber tyres, the TS-2000 virtually maintenance free, plus it is safe and easy to use.
“The trailer stands have become indispensable pieces of equipment, they are robust, strong, thoroughly user friendly and most importantly, they work extremely well."
