Caljan Rite-Hite, the UK's leading manufacturer of advanced material handling systems, is constantly striving to help its customers find cost effective solutions to their problems. High-street fashion distributor, Mosaic Fashions Ltd, has recently benefited from the company's expertise, having invested in a refurbished Man Rider telescopic boom conveyor for its distribution centre in Witney, Oxfordshire.
Over 200 people work at the centre, which distributes clothing for leading ladies fashion brands Oasis, Coast, Karen Millen and Whistles. The Man Rider telescopic boom has a platform, which is used by warehouse operatives for handling boxed clothes. Easy to operate due to its ergonomic design, the machine decreases loading and unloading time by up to 50%.
Refurbished booms are available to purchase at almost half the cost of a new product. This includes new bearings, belts, motors, electrics, and ensures that all wiring and controls comply with today's stringent standards. As part of the package, booms are also given a complete paint respray at Caljan Rite-Hite's depot in Bingham, Nottinghamshire.
