Aston Martin Uses Arca Boxes
Aston Martin is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of prestige sports cars. Part of the Premier Automotive Group, the company is currently enjoying a dramatic increase in sales as new models such as the DB9 are launched to critical acclaim.
The DB9 is the first car to be made at Aston Martin’s new high-technology facility in Gaydon, Warwickshire, beginning a new chapter in Aston Martin’s history. From 2005, the Gaydon facility will also house production to the new Aston Martin V8 Vantage and is probably the finest facility of its type in the world.
Style is an integral part of everything that Aston Martin does and its stamp of quality is evidenced in all aspects of the production process from design and engineering through to manufacture. Building such prestigious cars places emphasis on the quality of the manufacturing facility and attention to detail is of paramount importance.
The production plant must reflect the superb quality and finish of the product itself a pristine appearance is vital for when customers are invited to view their vehicle under construction. It was no surprise then that Arca Systems’ small nesting boxes were chosen as the most appropriate containers to house components awaiting installation. Situated alongside the assembly tracks, they were the obvious and perfect choice.
